Hi, I am Gaurav. I started my career in SRE and DevOps, building and operating reliable systems in banking and industrial IoT, and that foundation in infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD still shapes how I design and ship software today. During my master's in Computer Science at UC Irvine, working hands-on with generative AI made me realize how strongly AI-driven products and solid infrastructure together can shape how people work over the next decade.
I'm looking for backend / production engineering roles where I can own services end-to-end, from design to reliability in production.
I now focus on building reliable services, internal tools, and GenAI applications that help teams move faster and make better decisions. I've recently built two AI products end-to-end, a digital human avatar experience and a research assistant over 400k+ university records - and enjoyed taking them from idea to running systems in the cloud.
My goals are to keep deepening my expertise in large-scale systems and GenAI, to work on meaningful problems at the intersection of infrastructure and product, and to consistently ship tools that make other engineers and stakeholders more effective.
What drives me is a long-term commitment to craft: understanding systems in depth, improving them step by step, and staying close to users so the work always creates real, positive impact.
